Commander: Napoleon at War

No score - cold shouldered

Another cold shouldered game, included here in an attempt to try and make this list a little more comprehensive.  A cold shouldered game's one that didn't float high enough above the general malaise of life to get past my fortress of arrogance ... i.e. I didn't buy it, so I can't review it.  Here's a note to say why.

This game was just silly from the start: a vain attempt to shoehorn Commander: Europe at War's WW2 engine, which relied on continuous fronts & massive armies, into the manoeuvre-centric world of the Napoleonic Wars.  The end result: 19th Century canons that can bombard from 300 miles away and units of a few hundred men that screen the front for hundreds of miles ... well, if that's your cup of tea, be my guest.
