Another cold shouldered game: one I didn't bother buying.

Great Invasions is a wargame in the kind-of/sort-of sense that Europa Universalis is a wargame.  It's a strategy game with wargamey aspects to it, and as Ageod and Matrix released it, I thought I'd at least mention it.

Great Invasions uses the same game engine Ageod used in World War One: La Grande Guerre 1914-1918, but without the patches that game's had to make it more stable.  Enough said, and boy do I wish I'd known that was the case before I bought WWI; I'd thought WWI used the Athena engine used in Ageod's better games.

Even if the Volkswanderung is your cup of tea I suspect you'd be better served elsewhere.
