My 10 most anticipated games for 2009
Because Gamesquad’s published a list of their ten most anticipated games for the year without including any wargames on the list, and because it’ll be interesting to see whether the level of the thrill or disappointment I get corresponds in any way to my anticipation, and because it’ll be interesting to see which hits come out this year that I didn’t know about at all … and just because I like lists, here goes.
My most anticipated games for 2009 are:
1. Eagle Day to Right Back Atcha 2. Battles from the Bulge
3. Combat Mission: Shock Force: any WW2 module
4. Anything Prosimco does (there's at least a magazine mini game)
5. Anything by John Hawkins (of WPP fame)
6. Anything SSG does that I don't already own (I’m clutching at straws here)
7. (Maybe, I'm in two minds) Lock'n'load
8. (MAYBE) World in Flames
9. Galley Battles (AKA long shots sometimes pay off)
10. (And I almost forgot!) NWS's SAS, when it's finally working.
EDIT 7 February 2009 – This list didn’t even last out the week! I found out today that Eagle Day won’t have any kind of editor. So, one down …
