Game of the Year 2009

It’s that time of year again, it’s award time.

As ever on this site the Game of the Year is based solely on the scores already given, and in 2009 those scores were easier than usual to compare.

The award for 2009 goes to the standout performer of last year: NWS's Warship Combat - Navies at War.

It would have been a prize well deserved in any year but in 2009 there was very little by way of competition. So thank whichever deity you’re in the habit of thanking - that even in an awful, awful year a good game can still occasionally come along. And roll on 2010!
